China has decided to remove dogs from the list of livestock. We can look at that decision from different points of view, like global politics or health issues. I choose to think that this is a step in the direction of appreciation of all living beings. Animal Lovers are happy after this news of passing a law for declaring dogs as pets.
CHINA RECLASSIFY DOGS AS PET
The majority of the Chinese population does not eat dogs. The decision of agriculture ministry at the governmental level is a welcome step. The global movement for animal welfare especially for dogs will take it as their victory.
I grew up in a place where pigs and cows were the main source of meat, also horses. if the gesture from the Chinese government will give rise to equal changes on the list of what is livestock in the Western world. Will the US government take horses off the list for livestock, or cows, sheep, and goats?
I choose to look at the list of livestock as a checklist that how much we as human beings are evolving towards higher vibrational levels existence. The Chinese have taken a step forward, let us watch out for the next step.

As I have come to appreciate the dogs & cows and their way of being in the midst of life in India, with or without lockdown, I have come to see
